Bait and switch is the name of the game... Every ad, flyer, statement from this company makes claims that are only true if you want almost ZERO protection, then they expect the technician to go in and pass on the actual protection plan, which is literally THOUSANDS more. To have any useable features, the monthly cost is more than double what they tell you. The tech is making nothing if you dont sign on for more, so its a lose-lose for customer and employee. For a security company, they dont protect ANYONE, costumer, or employees.

I moved and they continued to withdraw monthly and said I signed 36 month contract and they would continue no matter what the circumstances for moving. Do not give them a credit card number and if they don't like it go find a good security service!

I called ADT thinking they were an honest and reputable company boy I was wrong they promised me the world all of the system was included in the installation, the warranty was avaliable on all packages, I would get 5 to 20 percent off my insurance all were lies I got 2 percent back, they wanted me to pay 3000 dollars for parts and the warranty was not on the cheapest package. This company will rip you off I just want out of my contract and get my money back but I am locked into a 3 year contract this company is a joke DO NOT USE!!!!

Was told OUR ADT BILL WOULD BE 39.99 A MONTH PLUS TAX. Why is our bill 59.99 a month. Whenever i call in to make payment adt says I have to pay for 2 months. So it cost me 115.00 a month. Unhappy adt

Missed connection | ADT review

i on sat tech called me and no answer he left a message he was on his way. I called adt at 4:02 to let them know i was at home the agent kept me on hold for a long time, meanwhilw the tech left a missed adt note on door at 4:10 never ringing doorbell. Before calling Adt i called tech back tried to leave a message and voice mall has not been set up . The weekends games are played , in this case the agent was working with the tech and the tech was trying to cover his *** by leaving a missed note. I was told by an agent when I called to reschedule Monday was a holiday . Adt please clean house before you lose all of your customers Shocked

Unresponsive to my issues | ADT review

August 17, 2019 I had ADT install a security system. They did not complete the full promised package. I was to receive key pods in addition to the install. I have been complaining since day one about this issue. I later learned that they have installation by another company which I was not told. Their name is Defender. I have had issues getting someone to come out to assist us with the issue. Today I was on hold for 2 hours. I was able to do my chores as I waited. You call ADT they say talk to defender. Defender says the reverse. They are very messy and unresponsive. Plus I was over charged for services. I'm pissed. Next stop is contacting the new media.

Nice to see that some things remain the same despite the passage of time - ADT still isn't any good since I (our company) dumped them back in the 90's.
