ADT - NEVER AGAIN
I cancelled on 9/11/18. (I wanted to cancel in March 2018 but was informed for the first time that I was in a 3 year contract, so I stuck it out, even though the service doesn't work right.
I also asked ADT why I never received a copy of that contract? They couldn't answer and failed to provide one after I requested it. I still have all of the paperwork that the lying snake salesman gave to me when I signed up.) After cancelling, the next week they charged my card. I called and asked them why would they charge my card after I had already cancelled?
I was told that they needed a 30 day notice to "stop monitoring my home". How the heck does that make sense? I explained that I fufilled my contract, which are the terms that were hidden behind my back when I signed up for this "unprofessional circus" to monitor my home. "Your contract auto renews each month" was the response they gave me.
Well I'm obliged to tell you that I have disputed this donkey show with my bank and I will NOT be paying you another dime. Let's go to court with it. Any judge with half a brain will see it the consumers way. 3 years is way too long of a contract IMO anyway and I WAS NOT told about a 3 year contract, nor given ANY documentation regarding this contract.
Oh yea, and btw ADT you won't ever be getting this customer back, nor my family and friends. You were supposed to keep burglars out, as it so happens, you are the ones robbing people.
