I have been an ADT customer since 2010. In 2017 I had ADT upgrade my security system because is was 7 years old.
By upgrading the system ADT snuck in a 36 month contract renewal. In early 2018 we moved out of our house and into an apartment. I attempted to move the ADT service, I was informed by ADT that this would renew the 36 month contract. I declined and attempted to cancel, they then sent us a bill for $1,200.
So basically if you ever move ADT will screw you over and make you renew your contract, if you are unwilling to do this they will cancel the service and charge you the entire amount of the full 36 month contract.
They are a horrible company and I will never do business with them again, words cannot express how pissed off I am at this company. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS EVER.
