ADT charges for services after cancellation and after monitoring stops
Cancelled ADT monitoring in December 2016. They are billing me for six months during time when they were not monitoring system.
I have called and spoken to them many times. Sometimes calls last for over 40 minutes and go up three levels of supervision. They have threatened me with debt collectors. A very unethical, possibly corrupt company.
My monitoring was originally with Brinks and ADT bought their business and have raised prices every year.
Each time I speak to them via telephone the operatives use slick phrases and give the impression that all want to do is rip me off. They will not accept that because they have not been monitoring my system that they should not charge me.
Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.
Monetary Loss: $258.
Preferred solution: Statement saying final bill and no further charges.
ADT Cons: Unethical billing and staff, Inept billing procedure.
