I have had ADT for several years and updated to a different system. My husband is in the hospital and they refused to cancel the service as he was not available to speak to them. The person on the phone refused to get his supervisor saying that they would call me within 24 hours, I wanted to know what was wrong with now! They would not cancel the service so I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The road blocks that they kept throwing my way were rediculous. I had to call them from the hospital so he could tell them that I could cancel the service. 1297ca6

Would you want some yahoo calling to cancel your adt, then break into your home?  

The one that signed the contract must cancel it. I see no fault with adt on this. More like you were wanting to cancel service in a way that couldn't be done and are all atwitter they wouldn't do it. Why didn't you just wait til your husband was out of the hospital??
