Hi All, 4-5 weeks ago my back door wireless sensor failed. it took 2 weeks for technician to come out. He said we needed to move something and ordered a part. Keeping in mind we already been with ADT 2 years and nothing happened before. So i waited 2 more weeks for another tech to come out so say something different. Changed the sensor and leave. Adt has very poor customer service, they allowed a past due balance for three months, now I have spoken to them on several occasions but not once did they mention this past due balance until I made a request for a refund after suspending the service due to moving. The system was installed in January 2014, failed in March 2014. I phoned them repeatedly, waited 2 weeks each time for inspection. Each time they found nothing wrong despite the burned electrical strip which they placed on top of my gas furnace near a gas hot water heater. I reported them to the Fire Marshal in the State of Louisiana. Fortunately, I discovered it before there was an explosion.... Read more

They do not protect your home or have your best interest in mind. Our lines were cut on our ADT system and no one called us to check to see if everything was ok. A week went by with no response from ADT. How safe are you if someone can disconnect your system and ADT doesn't respond. Do not upgrade your service! ADT convinced me to upgrade to Pulse then charged me for a early termination fee of my old service! The service technician was an hour late and he didn't test my code which I found out later when I almost set off the alam trying to turn it off (luckily my husband's FOB worked). The camera they provide needs to be plugged into a wall so it's limited on where you can... Read more

As a former employee, I called ADT clients. Many had bought burglar/fire alarms from ADT Dealers. (After a year, service goes over to corporate, but ADT CORP handles monitoring.) I moved to Texas and dealing with ADT here has been s complete nightmare. I am so sorry for doing business with this company. The charged me twice for installation and kept getting the run around on the refund. I hate to dispute thru my bank. Scheduled a repair and no one showed up or called. This is the third time in a row our alarm system gave a low battery signal at around 3am.
