Abigail 866-561-0952 Ext 26727 ( She will love to hear from you!) Incompetence On every level. had a fire on Monday. I am a 20 year customer. no response from ADT. After a dozen calls, I was quoted $1200 to "fix" my system with a new wireless system. 2 year contract and a higher monthly rate. I heard a beeping in the house. Called ADT and they said nothing was wrong. A few days later I traced the beep to the carbon monoxide detector. Called ADT and was placed on hold for quite a while. I had a sales rep seek me out after purchasing my home saying he was referred by my Realtor. He called me 4 times a day every day. I finally answered and he sold me a complete out right bogus deal. Greg Moore, company for ADT who dies installation. Installer used 20 year old power supply with new equipment. Power supply burned out and fried electrical outlet, system ran for 32 hours on battery then died, didn't have cameras for pool area, supposed to come back and install later, never did that either. I called to schedule a service update as per ADT's mailer. I had to call 3 times (and was put on hold) to schedule the appointment which was subsequently cancelled because they didn't have anyone in the area (technician called out sick) I rescheduled only to have an ADT rep tell me that the technician was at my home but no one answered the door (a lie)! Our contract expired at least 4 years ago In January I lost my job. I called to cancel service and was told everything was canceled. In March my wife called to again cancel service after bills keep coming. Just today she called and were told they have no record of any of these calls and we have been placed for collections. See attached letter. Local ADT rep did not reply. They did not contact installer also as involved party, to resolve this problem. Now ADT keeps charging us monthly for a non-operable system. Alarm system not properly connected to phone line. ADT should not even charge for "monitoring". Old charges should be reversed & new charges stopped. ADT should ask local installer to correct... I have similar issues today . Adt claims I need to obtain a new contract with them in order to turn services back on from a one time billing lapse. Currently I am up to date on payment and my contract term is almost up ($571 left). I have no services currently but I am being charged until end of agreement anyways . Contracted with Brinks in 2009 for alarm system. Fulfilled my three years of monitoring service . ADT took over . After I terminated their service they billed my credit card and when I disputed it they somehow disabled my entire system a week later.
