ADT is still a big name in home security but I got discouraged by some of the things I heard about them such as the equipment being faulty and false alarms. My Pulse system went offline the end of April (without my knowing it as the lights were all "green" on my Pulse box. Mid-May I discovered this and did troubleshooting with the tech on the phone who decided it was the box itself. MOST AWFUL SERVICE EVER system has never worked properly for 17 months. They schedule appointments and don't come, or they come and don't fix the problem. The only thing they do well is to send their ultra high bill every month. Tried to cancel and I can't because I signed a two year contract. Absolutely the worst cancellation avoidance tactics I have ever seen. They make you hold for over an hour then when you say you want to cancel they put you on hold another 45 min. To hour to speak to another department. I wrote letters, emails, returned bills and after 5 months I was contacted and they stated I needed to sign a cancellation form!!
