I was not informed it was a 3 year contract and I actually called after a few days of installation and I was told after a year, I could make a switch, I dont write reviews but this is very ridiculous and frustrating not to point out this 3years contract on signing the contract I know I will never never had agreed to that. I am voicing my displeasure and worst of all the disconnection manager was so rude told me to sue them. It a shame people get your service and this is what you get in return. I had them take out a pynt without authorization causing a major situation. Requested refund and they told me by a certain date and that didn t happen. Called them on date tob2 why then they said by end of that day but takes 3 to 5 days. Well first date was 3rd date. I now see how I am not considered a value to this company and need to get with a Company that value my business. I been with them for over 20 years and I guess it's time to do above. Read more

My mother has had ADT system for years. She is on her second remote that she sleeps with at night. Up till now, she hasnt had accidental alarm activations. Has had two the last two nights. When i xall to resolve the problem, the *** on the other end seems to think she sets it off all the time. ADT doesnt seem interested in trying to correct the problem. Time to try something else. Mr. Shultz, I am having a terrible time with your company regarding the equipment and service contract purchased outright for our school. ADT 's employees have conducted business with us unethically and have violated consumers laws and protections in MA. They have treated my husband and I as second class citizens, and have sent us inadequate invoices. I was told one thing to try and get me to sign up and then when the tech came out it was something else plus i was told they dont charge my account they only hold the money well when the trch came out told us the truth we decided jot to go with them i requested my money back 106 found out later it will tak 7 to 10 business days these guys are liars and are thiefs not happy at all they can take my money in hours but cant returnnut when he saidnit would be reversed didnt say weeks later Read more

Terrible customer service. No return call from a field rep for over a month. Extremely unreasonable service charges. I was billed over 300.00 for a 30 second appointment. Almost 200 for a trip charge. I was a customer for over 10 years. Add comment

Just got adt 5 days ago the alarm keeps messing up. They charged my account double what i was told. I told them i wanted monthly invoice sent which they agreed. I payed my fee for installation then was told be billed within 72 hrs for monthly fee. They took 2 months fees out and it was on same day they took lnstallation. I did not get billed nor did they even wait 72 hrs. Now they cant change my payment style cus they won't own my account till the buy it from the company that installed it. Read more

back 8 year's a go i open a account with ADT everything it was ok until i was starting getting problems with my alarm system in november 2016 i call they tell me i need a new equipment since they install the new equipment i'm getting problems with the system i close my account because they tell me i can close with no fees because of the so many calls they went to my house and fixer 3 times and doesn't work there going to refund my money and i purchase 2 cameras from ADT i spoke with them and tell there i don't need it because of the issue now... I had an issue with ADT last August when we received a call from them advising one of our sensors had an error. They said they would send an engineers and sure enough one came the next day. They replaced a part and left Then came the £300 invoice for this job. The problem is, they have fitted a sensor to a back door that opens to the outside & now want to charge us for it having water damage. If not waterproof it means i can't open my back door from my house if its raining as this sensor will get damaged & cost me money to replace overtime.... Read more

ADT, are not professionals. Thay mislead you, telling you they wil give you everything that is on the add. Technician came to my house. He informed for that price I didn't qualified for 27.99 month, they have different packets. When I called to get the information Mario (MM901) and Juan Carlos ricas so called a director. Stayed that I would get all that said in the flyer, which I found ou all was a lie. Technician called a guy name Dillan and Mauticio manager, they would not honored. I cancelled the installation.
