We found ADT Customer Service a living nightmare after your ADT installer fell through our ceiling, landing on top of our 50 gal electric water tank breaking our hot water tank line and damage to our ceiling. Today because of new developments I called ADT and was passed to 5 ADT areas before speaking to someone. AS A CURRENT CUSTOMER I DECIDED TO UPGRADE AFTER 21 YEARS AND THEY PRICEOF INSTALLATION, PARTS AND INSTALLATION WAS AGREED UPON. WHEN THEY ARRIVED THEY STOLE ITEMS FROM MY HOME THAT BELONG TO MY PRIOR SECURITY SYSTEM WITHOUT HAVING EVEN AGREED UPON THE CONTRACT WHEN I ASKED QUESTIONS. How do you get rid of them. I had a system put it that never worked. I had a wire sticking out of the top of the adapter and could not get cancelled. Very bad system. Now they want 750.00 to cancel. I tried to cancel in 3 days ...not possible. Now. They are calling me for payment. I stopped pay on them and had to het a new card. Talk about a scam. I went through Security Systems Now. I called ADT to cancell my services told them to stop taking money out of my account they were telling me about a password I explained I don't have it please cancell the services 7 months later I get a bill for 313.39 I thought they were just sending advertisements since I was with the company so long I called them about this got switched around 3 times then told they would gibe me credit for half the bill if I paid the other half so I asked for... I was not informed it was a 3 year contract and I actually called after a few days of installation and I was told after a year, I could make a switch, I dont write reviews but this is very ridiculous and frustrating not to point out this 3years contract on signing the contract I know I will never never had agreed to that. I am voicing my displeasure and worst of all the disconnection manager was so rude told me to sue them. It a shame people... Read more

I had them take out a pynt without authorization causing a major situation. Requested refund and they told me by a certain date and that didn t happen. Called them on date tob2 why then they said by end of that day but takes 3 to 5 days. Well first date was 3rd date. I now see how I am not considered a value to this company and need to get with a Company that value my business. I been with them for over 20 years and I guess it's time to do... Read more

My mother has had ADT system for years. She is on her second remote that she sleeps with at night. Up till now, she hasnt had accidental alarm activations. Has had two the last two nights. When i xall to resolve the problem, the *** on the other end seems to think she sets it off all the time. ADT doesnt seem interested in trying to correct the problem. Time to try something else. Mr. Shultz, I am having a terrible time with your company regarding the equipment and service contract purchased outright for our school. ADT 's employees have conducted business with us unethically and have violated consumers laws and protections in MA. I was told one thing to try and get me to sign up and then when the tech came out it was something else plus i was told they dont charge my account they only hold the money well when the trch came out told us the truth we decided jot to go with them i requested my money back 106 found out later it will tak 7 to 10 business days these guys are liars and are thiefs not happy at all they can take my money in hours but cant returnnut when he... Terrible customer service. No return call from a field rep for over a month. Extremely unreasonable service charges. I was billed over 300.00 for a 30 second appointment. Almost 200 for a trip charge. I was a customer for over 10 years. Add comment
