I sold my home, went to every service/utility company's website I do business with to see what I needed to do to cancel service. Under myadt.com, canceling service says to call or write because they won't cancel online. I don't think they have any employees as only subcontractors show up - if they show up. I waited all day today for the service guy to show up. I wasted my day as no one did. No phone call, nothing. Half hour on the phone and they have no idea why. This is one screwed up company. Every service call results in a two week wait. Service level at this company is worse than zero! Honestly, I paid them $500 for installation and had nothing except the headache since then. Last experience, the smoke detector is messed up. I bought a home with a Brinks security system (now ADT). I am not paying for their service. Shortly after moving in, the alarm started going off. I had ADT to install their regular system into my home in Oct. 2012, as my mom's Alzheimer's got worst I had them to install their pulse system so I can have the camera system, they did not tell me that I would be signing a new contract at that time. RUN AWAY FAST FROM THIS COMPANY! I got a letter from debt collection due to this incompetent ADT company. I ordered adt and had a rep come out and set it up. I opted for automatic billing to a debit card for convenience. Unfortunately my debit card information was compromised and I had a new debit card sent to me.
